Restaurant description: This was one of the best restaurants in Stavanger, with one of the best wine cellars. Run by an American with deep roots here - Craig set up several well-known restaurants in Stavanger before settling here.

Sadly it closed in March 2009 - Renaas matbar has now opened there.

Craig is still busy with various projects and still runs www.craig.no with entertaining blogs on grill, barbeque and the general meaning of life

Location description: This restaurant is in the middle of central Stavanger, just behind the kulturhuset at Solvberget. It is part of a small shopping centre called Breitorget.

Directions: From the kulturhuset and cinema (kino) in the centre, go out of the kulturhuset through the doors beside the cinema ticket office. Turn right into the alley - it's on your left.
