Description: The Irishman pub has been around for about 15 years, and is a welcoming, popular place for many nationalities. This is a cosy pub on a car-free cobbled street in central Stavanger. It used to be one of the smokiest places around, but that all ended in 2004. Open fire, live music on Thursday evening and Saturday afternoon from the Harbour Folk Band, and the best guinness outside of Ireland

Directions: From the main entrance of the kulturhuset, walk beside the building to the right. The Irishman is 60 metres on the right side, next to the Akropolis restaurant
