Description: Martinique is an unusual pub with a great atmosphere and a wide variation in age and interest of their customers. Going over 20 years, it has recently been renovated. With sports screens, tiny stage and occasional concerts, DJs, quiz night and friendly staff - but not dart boards anymore, unfortunately.

Location description: Martinique is in Nytorget, on the east side of central Stavanger, towards Storhaug, about 100 metres beyond St. Petri church. It looks like a normal wooden house at a distance.

Directions: From the fish market at the end of the main harbour, walk across the millenium square, past the cathedral, turn left down Klubbgata then right up the hill onto Pedersgata. Martinique is on your left after 200 metres
