Nordic Regatta - Nordisk SeilasThe Nordic Regatta - called Nordisk Seilas in Norwegian, and with similar but different spellings in Danish and Swedish - is a sailing boat regatta in late June and early July racing between Sweden, Denmark and Norway, with several days in port after the race stages. |

Recent
arrival ports in Norway - all in the eastern part of Sørlandet (the
south coast) - have included Kragerø, Tvedestrand and Risør,
all to the north east of Arendal. In 2007 the regatta will leave Uddevalla in Sweden on 27 June, racing to Tønsberg, north of Sandefjord, Vestfold county, Norway, then racing again down to Hirtshals, and Skagen, Denmark.
