Basic
information:
There has been an airport
here for 70 years. The current terminal was built in 1987 and is being
extended. There is also a helicopter terminal for north-sea oil traffic.
There are about 70 flights each weekday, and about 3 million passengers
per year.
Transport
to / from:
Airport bus links, taxis,
car hire and several car parking facilities.
Stavanger airport bus link every 20 minutes, taking about 20-30 minutes
Sandnes airport bus link about 5 times a day, taking about 15-20 minutes.

and Destinations:
SAS
Braathens (SK) have flights to Copenhagen, London
Heathrow, Aberdeen, Oslo, Bergen, and Kristiansand;
Wideroe (WF) - also part
of the SAS group - have flights to Newcastle, Aberdeen, Bergen and
Sandefjord;
Norwegian (DY)
have flights to Oslo, Bergen and also to Malaga, Nice, Berlin, Paris
and Prague;
KLM (KL) the Dutch airline
has flights to Amsterdam;
German Lufthansa (LH)
has flights to Frankfurt;
Danish Air Transport (DX) has flights to Esbjerg
and Billund;
Eastern Airways (T3)
will begin flights to Aberdeen from 13 August 2007.
