Directions for getting there: Take RV 9 north from Kristiansand through Setesdal to Hovden, or south from E 134 on RV 9 to Hovden. In the summer you can take the Suleskar road over from Stavanger and Sirdal to Valle then north to Hovden, or take RV 45 from Dalen in Telemark west to Valle and then north.
