![]() Description: Hovden is one of the largest ski resorts in southern Norway with over 15 km of alpine slopes, which will soon be doubled. It also offers over 150 km of excellent cross-country ski trails, a large leisure swimming complex, and ice skating. In the summer it has many hiking trails and guided hikes, plus cycle trails, fishing and pure relaxation in the high mountains, as part of a touring holiday ![]() Location description: Hovden is at the top end of Setesdal, the big valley of Aust Agder county, about 200 km north of Kristiansand. This is close to the E 134 road that runs east-west between Haugesund and Oslo, and is popular with winter visitors from most of south Norway, also including Arendal and Stavanger Directions for getting there: Take RV 9 north from Kristiansand through Setesdal to Hovden, or south from E 134 on RV 9 to Hovden. In the summer you can take the Suleskar road over from Stavanger and Sirdal to Valle then north to Hovden, or take RV 45 from Dalen in Telemark west to Valle and then north. |

The hotels are well-equipped for courses, conferences, team-building, banqueting and other private parties.
