![]() Description: Stavanger Chamber of Commerce Expat Service Center was set up to help the employees and families of member companies to settle in the region, with information, classes, newsletters and regular social events. The cross-cultural courses (full or half day) include a lot of detailed information on the history, geography and culture of Norway, with hints on daily life, shopping, driving, etc ![]() Location description: The expat centre is in central Stavanger overlooking Vågen, the main harbour. It is in the large white building - Rosenkildehuset - with a cobbled square in front with a fountain. The entrance is on the ground floor in the front of the building - where the tourist information office used to be. Directions for getting there: From the fish market at the end of the harbour, walk towards Gamle Stavanger and the car ferry terminal on the west side of the harbour (away from the row of coloured seahouses). Cross the road after 20 metres, across the cobbled square, the entrance is a white door in front of you |
