 Description: The ski-hire shop at Tjørhomfjellet skisenter (Sirdal Alpint) has lots of new equipment for rental, including skis, snowboards, helmets and back-supports. There is also a range of equipment and clothing such as helmets and gloves for sale. You can also buy hot dogs (pølser) and hot drinks here, and have a sit down at the tables. Toilets are in the next building.  Location description: Tjorhomfjellet ski shop is the large tent-like building, close to the on the button lift on the Huldreheimen - family - side of the Tjorhomfjellet ski resort, not the chairlift side. From the chairlift car park (without skis) you must walk round to Huldreheimen Directions for getting there: Tjorhomfjellet ski resort is close to Sinnes in Sirdal, on the RV 45 road from Stavanger and Sandnes, just before it joins the FV 468 that runs up through Sirdal. From Sandnes turn left off the RV 45 over the bridge, then keep left for Huldreheimen button lift, NOT right for the chairlift. |

 Children get free helmet rental when they also rent ski equipment. The pink helmets are going to be a favorite with the girls - there is a light blue version for the boys. There are good helmets for adults too!
