Aavik and Svinor fishing villages

Aavik and Svinor are two halves of a beautiful fishing village, with Svinor being on an island and only accessible by private boat.  It is very quiet - partly because there is no public parking.

take me fishing This charming little village is lovely for a short stroll to soak in the atmosphere. It is definitely off the tourist route and worth a peep.

The best way to visit is by boat or bike - unless you're staying here of course. With a car you would need to park a short distance away from the village and walk.
Combine a short visit here with a trip to nearby Spangereid or Lindesnes lighthouse.
