Sandtangen in Bryne

Small recreational area beside Froylandsvatnet lake just five minute walk from Bryne town centre, in the Jaeren region of Rogaland, south of Stavanger Norway. Walking and cycling trails and large grassy area beside the lake with lots of picnic tables. Beautiful wooded area for collecting cones and listening to birdsong.

explore the woodland full of birdsong This is lovely for a short stroll beside the lake or for a longer visit to picnic and cycle along the trails.
Perhaps walk into Bryne town centre, for shops, refreshments or a short walk along the river.
This area is the south western point of the 20km circular cycling route all around Froylandsvatnet lake, which runs right beside the lake along the entire west side.

By car:
Drive south from Stavanger  and take RV44 exit south to Bryne. In town centre, turn left onto 506 towards Algard, go under railway line and Sandtangen is immediately on the left.
