Fister AreaFister is a small village on the west coast of the mainland north of Stavanger. It has lovely views out over the fjord of the many surrounding islands. This beautiful coastal area of Ryfylke is well worth a visit, either as a car tour or for a short camping trip. |

Fister
has a lovely small beach safe for bathing beside the campsite. Taking a
drive to Mosnes at the end of the road south from Fister gives beautiful
views out over the fjord and many apple orchards. Fister is a famous name
when it comes to summer strawberries, too.
It is also possible to drive a few kilometres north from Fister and over the bridge to the island of Randøy.
