Godalen and Ramsvik

Here is a beautiful 3km coastal walk from Hillevag boat harbour to Breivik small boat harbour. The trail runs in open countryside right beside the fjord and offers fantastic views over Gandsfjord and the mountains beyond. There are several lovely, sandy beaches and bathing spots along the way. It is difficult to believe that the town centre is only a couple of kilometres away to the northwest.

steep slopes on some parts of the path This is an excellent walk or cycle ride for families although the trail is a little steep in some sections.

The sandy beaches are sheltered from the westerly winds and are popular for bathing in the summer.

There are great sea- fishing opportunities from the large rocky headlands protruding into the fjord.
