Godalen and RamsvikHere is a beautiful 3km coastal walk from Hillevag boat harbour to Breivik small boat harbour. The trail runs in open countryside right beside the fjord and offers fantastic views over Gandsfjord and the mountains beyond. There are several lovely, sandy beaches and bathing spots along the way. It is difficult to believe that the town centre is only a couple of kilometres away to the northwest. |

This is an excellent walk or cycle ride for families although the trail
is a little steep in some sections. The sandy beaches are sheltered from the westerly winds and are popular for bathing in the summer. There are great sea- fishing opportunities from the large rocky headlands protruding into the fjord. Map reference: Kartblad 1212IV Stavanger, 132 392 to 140 406 By car: Drive south from Stavanger along RV44 and take first left down Paradisveien. Turn right and drive along the big Hillevag boat harbour to the very end of the road. Parking: Breivik small boat harbour at other end of trail By bus:Local bus from Stavanger Sentrum to Rosenli or Godalen Distance from Stavanger: 2.5 km |

10 minutes by car or bus 20 minutes by bike 40 minutes on foot Duration of the visit: One hour to full day Facilities: Parking near Bergjeland college at end of Stromvigveien OR Midjord stadium OR Rosenli apartments OR Breivik small boat harbour.
