Stavanger Vinfest - wine party

2007 will be the eighth Stavanger Vinfest - or Wine party. It is a celebration of good wine, and the food that complements it so well, with 12 of the best restaurants in Stavanger taking part.
This year kicks off on the Wednesday evening at 19.00 with a wine procession (upmarket version of a pub-crawl) of 11 stops from Timbuktu to Hall Toll (for 200 kroner), with a vinmesse (wine exhibition) on Saturday afternoon upstairs at Hall Toll (also 200 kr.)
In 2002 the Valberg tower was dressed up as a wine box.
