Road system
The E39 runs down from Trondheim,
Bergen and Stavanger to Kristiansand (and then over to Denmark). RV
42 runs coast to coast east-west inland, from Egersund to Arendal.
Rv 43 runs north from Farsund to join RV 42. RV 44 is the coastal
road that starts in Flekkefjord going north to Stavanger.
Car ferries
A ferry links the island of
Hydra to the mainland near Flekkefjord.
Fast boats
There are no fast boat services
in this area.
Railway
There is a line from Stavanger
to Kristiansand that calls at Egersund along the way.
The line then continues up to Oslo to the north east.

Airports
Kristiansand (Kjevik) airport
is 12 kilometers east of Kristiansand and Stavanger (Sola) airport
