Skiing
near Oslo Norway
Oslo
is the capital of Norway and 20 or 30 years ago cold white winters
were a fact of life - now the snow comes and goes.
What a city though - take the tram past holmenkollen ski jump to
Frognerseteren and you reach a recreation area with skiing and also
several sledge runs (starting at the tram platform) that take you
down to another tram stop - the next tram brings you back up!
When the snow comes, there are MANY local cross-country
and alpine skiing options
