Kvassheim Harbour and Lighthouse

This little fishing harbour set beside the ordered fields of the Jaeren farm landscape is one of many places to stop along the RV 44 coast road south of Stavanger Norway, near Vigrestad.

the harbour This is not a major destination in itself - it is another place where you can get out of the car and stretch your legs for a few minutes, as you watch the ever-changing Jaeren skies.
The shoreline here is large pebbles - sandy beaches are south at Brusand or further north.
You can walk along the path south from the harbour to Brusand beach about 3km away.
