Njaskogen beside Froylandsvatnet

Lovely network of lighted woodland trails for walking or cycling. In places a trail runs along the lakeside. Many information boards giving insights into the bird and wildlife living here. Lots of mushrooms and fir cones.

some tracks OK for cycling Enjoy the network of trails, dash around collecting cones or mushrooms amongst the trees, or simply sit beside the lake with a picnic. This mainly spruce forest has a relaxing atmosphere.
Njaskogen is just a small part of the 20km circular ride around Froylandsvatnet lake.

By car:
Drive south from Stavanger on the E39 take the RV44 exit right for Klepp. Turn left in Ganddal onto 505 to Kverneland. Continue 2.5 km south beyond Kverneland, turn right signposted Njaskogen.
