The cycle trail runs right beside the lake for the entire western side and
is very sheltered. On the eastern side, the cycle track follows beside the
505 road with the optional recommended diversion through Njaskogen woods. The ride can begin at several points around the lake. Recommend that the direction of cycling be chosen with the wind behind along the more exposed eastern side! To shorten the trip, cycle along the western side, either there and back (15km), or just part way, taking a train to and from different stations.
