Vagleskogen Wood

A small, mainly spruce wood surrounded by farmland with a main lighted trail and lots of small tracks, many quite steep, through the trees. Mushroom gatherers may enjoy coming here in Autumn.

for walking, cycling or jogging The southern edge of the wood lies beside the Figgio river which is mostly fenced off and inaccessible.
Possible to extend the walk much further to the east by crossing the main 505 road and entering the Bogafjell marsh and wooded area which from the high point has commanding views down over Stokkelandsvatnet lake in Ganddal.
