Røldal near Stavanger Norway
Røldal is a popular ski destination 3 hours by fast boat and bus or 3 - 4 hours by car from
Stavanger on the west coast of Norway, in the county of Hordaland. It has a long ski season and often has the deepest snow - for a reason:
it is not so unusual for traffic to have to shelter in the tunnels on the E134 road, waiting for convoys during the winter.

There are some hotels in the area - one close to the skisenter and others further away - at Odda, for example.. There are also hyttes
